- Storage, transfer, or use of HSPII (Highly Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information) on located at an OF is strictly prohibited.
- No Storage Devices are permitted out of offshore. In case of HDD that needs to be sent out, the data on the HDD is wiped out using the PDWIPE tool.
- Printers are only allowed inside the OF and maintained paper shredder in the immediate vicinity of the printer and it is clearly posted that all documents are shredded if not currently in use.
- Only cross-cut paper shredders are used during shredding of unwanted printed material in OF. Usage of straight cut paper shredder is strictly prohibited.

Daily and Weekly Plan
- Full Backup would be taken on every Monday & Saturday
- Incremental backup – Full would be taken from Tuesday to Friday.
Monthly backup plan
- Full backup every 1st Monday. Quarterly backup plan
- Full backup every 1st Monday.
Recovery/ Verification
Recovery is the only way to ensure verification of the data/source code backups will be verified every month Mock machine will be used recovery of data/source code.
Risk Management and Disaster Recovery
LogicTree has an established and detailed ‘Business Continuity Plan / Disaster Recovery Plan’ (DR) plan and procedures for its Offshore Development Centers (ODC).
The implementation level of DR depends on client’s requirements. The DR plan can vary between a simple Backup recovery Policy for Servers and Databases to setting up a well established redundant site. LogicTree’s Offshore Development Center provide basic DR solutions.
Power Failure
Facilities of LogicTree have UPS system along with the diesel generator sets as backup for any power failures.
WAN Link Failure
For some of the existing clients, LogicTree has provided for multiple communication links their sum of bandwidth equal to the total bandwidth requirement, rather than a single link of full capacity. This will ensure that critical activities can be shifted on to an alternate link.
Complete Disaster at the Facility
In case of a complete destruction of the ODC facility, LogicTree proposes that alternate LogicTree’s facility be used on a temporary basis to support the critical operations of the ODC. This would also involve setting up the communication link at the temporary location and using the mainframes and servers of Client. The duration for bringing up the alternate site would depend on the extent of the disaster. |
